The Christian leaders of the mainline denominations laughed at these literal interpretations and boldly asserted that Israel would never exist again. Once the state of Israel became a reality in 1948, these same Christian leaders began to argue that it was just an “accident of history” and not a fulfillment of prophecy!

Jesus chastised the Pharisees for not knowing the signs of the times in His day. One of the most talked about subjects in the Bible is the rapture. People have many opinions on the topic, to be sure. From myth to reality, from literal to allegorical – and everything in between.
Everything, Everywhere, All At Once
Right now, there are at least nineteen existential threats that are currently hanging over our collective heads like a giant boulder teetering on the edge of a cliff on the San Andreas faultline. Crazily enough, none of these threats include Covid, transgendered bathroom rights, or man-made climate change. However, for the sake of argument, here are said nineteen existential threats to both our nation and the world:
Running Out of Time – Daymond Duck
I agree with what Stanford said, but here are some of my thoughts when I read it:
- Christians are running out of time to get the gospel out, reach lost loved ones, give, serve, lay-up treasure in heaven, etc.
- Cold and lukewarm Church members are running out of time to get saved and go to heaven.
- Those that have heard the gospel, refused to believe it, accept Jesus, and repent of their sins, are running out of time to get saved before they are struck with strong delusion.
