My son (who professes to be a Christian and tells me God is closer than ever in his life) just told me two weeks ago the news of he having gender dysphoria. He is considering transitioning. I am broken-hearted about this and in shock. I am a Christian and believe this is a combination of physical issues going on but also deception from the enemy Satan. I have some I can trust as prayer warriors praying for him but this is bigger than anything I ever thought I would have to endure.
Never were there any signs during his lifetime of this even surfacing. He is retired military (20 years), was on the HS football teams, wrestling, and had girlfriends. He has a son he doesn't allow me to even speak of. (His son is now 14. He is out of state and last saw his dad at age 6.) He was married to his son's mom for two years I can recall. He has since been in other relationships with women and one most recent for about 10 years. They were very serious but my son has trouble committing to anyone.
Prayer has helped me stay strong. I am daily in God's Word. Music from Christian artists like those I hear on KTIS (FM 98.5) helps me stay lifted up and reminds me who has already won the victory in this. "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the LORD!" (Job)
My life verse has been: "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13)
Please pray for a weeping mother but more for my son, his deliverance, and his x girlfriend, to have strength (she is a Christian), but always God's will in this. He can, He will and He has!

I have prayer requests below - all relating to my best friend Esther in Canada - sorry this is long but it is easier for me to have worded the prayer requests in the way that I have. I will also post within the facebook group too
The prayer requests below are for my Friend Esther who resides in Canada
Here is a brief history relating to my best friend overseas Esther who is a Believer in Christ:
Esther and her husband Morley have six adult children ranging from 21 – 29. Three children are married and they have five grand-children with two more expected, one this month and one in July
Three of their sons are single:
Esther and Morley:
Briefly their marriage since I have known them which is 19 years now has been difficult and Morley is into Hebrew Roots theology though does now attend bible studies with Esther once a week. Morley has always had a difficult relationship with all six children and has been very controlling and sadly the above has caused confliction within his and Esther’s marriage. All six of their children are to the best of my knowledge Believers in Christ
Morley is now retired, and Esther is working part time hours. They are living with one of their sons Ethan and his wife Jess and two children Jackie and Micah aged three and under:
Here is Prayer request # One:
Both Ethan and Jess are really struggling with having Morley here. Not financially. But Ethan feels Dad is making him feel guilty for not believing as he does and Jess is going through depression and has always had some issues with Morley. Ethan said he has started to drink and smoke more since Dad has been here, not go to church or read his Bible. What it comes down to is we have to leave. Jess was upset saying it wasn't me and she feels terrible putting me in this position. I had already realized that it would be best if we lived somewhere else
Prayer request # Two: Benny & Hannah:
Hannah their youngest daughter married Benny five years ago this year. Benny is ten years older than Hannah. Hannah is 24 – Hannah a Believer in Christ married Benny who is a non-Christian. Benny has been into drugs and alcohol from the word go though kept this from Hannah for the first year of their marriage! To cut a long story short when Benny found out that Hannah was expecting their first child due this month, Benny lost it and ransacked their home to the point Hannah left as she was scared for the safety of herself and their unborn child. Benny ended up in a psychiatric hospital for about five weeks and almost lost his job. Their situation seemed to have calmed down when we thought all was going well until now. Benny is falling back into old habits...bad habits. Drinking again. Hannah is getting discouraged – this has changed within the last two weeks
Prayer Request # Three:
Zeph is their oldest child aged 29 who I know has a very strong relationship with Jesus. He is single and has never been in a relationship. He is renting a two-bedroom house and has a good job but now Zeph is having a struggle financially to make ends meet. Esther has talked to Zeph who is open to finding a place together with his parents to help pay expenses. There just isn't any place right now. But Esther is trusting the Lord will open a place in His time. Quote from Esther “If Morley would get a job, even a job that is only 3 days a week, it would help. I haven't talked to Morley about this yet. “
Those are the main prayer requests for Esther and her family. Thank you for your ongoing prayers which means a lot
