I have noticed a trend that has been discussed by Olive Tree’s panel on what happened to our church(es). Seminary’s no longer teach pastors about Bible prophecy or even Israel’s place in the Word and world. My local church (which really is representative of them all in this area) does not speak over the books of the Bible or even Bible prophecy. It does not mention any prayers for Israel. Seeker friendly messages and simple sermons are what is preached. I’ve had conversations with members and the pastor on these things. My pastor is a young pastor and said he doesn’t feel comfortable to discuss the above topics. Please join me in praying that the Holy Spirit of God will speak into his heart and mind and guide him to the right sources to learn to teach these things. May his focus no longer be strictly to get numbers up or start new campuses but to focus on shepherding his current flock and counseling within. And may our congregation grow in truth concerning the Israelites and the Church of Jesus. Thank you, in Jesus name.
