We need a car. Ours has had several repairs just two months ago and is again having problems. It keeps cutting out at stops. We don't know what to do. We have no one to help us and we are out of ideas. We need to have our current car be reliable and safe or for God to provide a new-to-us-used-car that is running excellent so we don't get stranded. We can't afford this. My doctor is going on a sabbatical in September and because of this car issue I have to miss one of my needed appointments because of the car continuing to cut out on Sunday.

Please pray for a lady that has been in the house since October last year and although the Lord is doing a slow healing on her knee and foot, he has told her that he will do a miracle so she can go out and be independent again. Please pray she will have the miracle this week as she is upset and feels she has waited long enough.

Eritrean Embassy rejects petition calling for release of imprisoned Christian leaders
WASHINGTON — The Embassy of the State of Eritrea refused to accept a letter advocating for the release of Christian leaders imprisoned in what is often called "the North Korea of Africa" for more than 20 years without charges, as demonstrators worldwide are calling attention to one of the world's worst violators of religious freedom.
Religious Freedom Advocates gathered outside the Eritrean Embassy last week to protest the detention of seven Christian prisoners of conscience, including Orthodox priests, in the majority Muslim nation.
The embassy refused to accept the letter, which cited the treatment of the Christian leaders as contrary to the Eritrean Constitution of 1997, "There is no religious freedom in Eritrea," he said.
"There are so many who are being persecuted because of their religious beliefs. This is unconstitutional, this is wrong, and this should not happen."
"There is no such freedom of religion or belief in Eritrea. All is controlled by the government, and there is infiltration of the government in all religious institutions,"

I have a coworker who has harmed me and caused me emotional pain with their abuse of my kindness and friendship. Talking to them does no good. These things cannot be shared with others. This is stealing my joy out of life and causing me to hate my job. I cannot quit. This job is my livelihood. Please pray that God will turn around this situation. This person professes to be a Christian but I think it is just talk. Their actions show otherwise.
