I've shared twice before about my daughter's Hyper Aldosteronism that is also called Conn's Syndrome. Because of laws, she was unable to get health insurance and her only option was Missouri Medicaid. We had planned to pay the endocrinologist ourselves since the referral from her doctor was a block over on the Kansas side of Kansas City and out of network. She needs a vein test so they can see exactly where the extra aldosterone was coming from before they can do surgery. We had hoped they'd take her insurance with a co-pay or offer financial aid. It is so delicate of a test that one of the doctors said there are very few qualified to even do it. It all happened so fast, but she felt like she was dying on the 19th and we went to the ER in our town and they ran all the tests they could, but they'd been hacked that morning and had no computers. She was transferred to the big hospital where her endocrinologist practices and they scheduled the vein test....but then the financial office noticed her MO Medicaid. They are not even allowed to accept cash from a Missouri Medicaid holder. She cannot go back there and this condition is quite dangerous. She must have had this extra aldosterone for a very long time. When she was 12, she was crying that she'd asked God to heal her (not specific, but probably the emotions that go with Conn's) and that she did not believe in Him anymore. I would love for God to heal her AND/OR bring her back to himself. When she was young, she'd write poems to God. Thank you for praying. I really just want her to be saved--and to live to be saved. Thank you.

My Granddaughter Avery lost her boyfriend today. His younger sister went to wake him up and there was no response.
He was a good Christian boy no drugs no alcohol.
My Granddaughter is 18 and he was in his first year of college.
I feel so bad for her and his family.

My friend, Richard, is suffering with cancer. He’s become very thin and weak now. Richard is strong in his faith, but he and his beautiful family are asking for prayers of healing for him. I’m also praying for everyone here, that our Lord strengthen and heal all his servants spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially while we wait for Him to call us up and bring us home! I work at an oncology center, and this week has been much more difficult than most other times, for the fact that an ex-sister in law of mine, whom I have not seen in several years is now a patient there. She has had two strokes, which have impaired her speech and ability to walk without assistance. This past week was her first time at the office, and I happened to be the one obtaining her information. She has been diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer, which has metastasized to her bones; she will undergo other test to find out the extent of it. She and her ex husband had a daughter, Sara whom doesn't have a good connection with her Mom. I had asked my ex sister in-law if she had tried to contact Sara to let her know about her health, to which she shook her head "No". I am in no place to tell Sara about her Mother's condition! Sara now has a little boy who is about 4. I was trying to share the message of Christ to both of them in to which she replied to me. "I know you're coming from a place of love, but I don't practice religion. I do appreciate the sentiment. "
Little does she know that she is about to receive the terrible news about her Mother, and she will be in dire need of God's comfort.
I often wonder how people cope without faith.
