I am hopeful the Lord is coming again soon and pray my children and my husband will be saved before that day. My husband considers Christians "weak" and says God expects us to take care of ourselves. Dear God, please help me with the struggles I’m facing…family and financial stresses and worries that wake me up in the morning. I don’t want to worry, and you tell us not to. I’m trying to have Your peace. Sometimes this world is overwhelming and dark. We have to live in this world —but I long for my real home with you. I’ve been a stay home mom for years but now my kids are young adults and trying to figure out their path. Please call to their hearts and minds and have them turn to you and look to your coming as joyful and not an end to their ‘worldly hopes and dreams’. Being with you is all we will ever want or need.
I also need work, bills and the cost of living seems to be eating up every bit of savings and more. I’ve applied to jobs and with my work history before being a SAHM, and my various volunteer jobs over the years, I thought someone would give me a chance, but no one seems to answer my resume because of the many years I’ve been home. This world can make you feel as though you have very little worth, but I KNOW that I have great worth in Your eyes and that’s what I lean on.
Help me Lord in all things. You know each need. Thank you, thank you, for all that You are, Lord, and for the hope that only You can bring our troubled minds and hurting hearts. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

The Lord called us to Cyprus nearly 12 years ago, we are English. What Christian friends we did have scooted back to the UK when covid hit but we left everything to come here and do not have anything to go back to. We are now 79 and 80 years old, in a rented apartment in Nicosia and we could not be more alone if we tried. For 12 years we have sought an English speaking church (we went to school for 3 years to learn Greek but it was too difficult for us) but have not found one where the whole counsel of God is taught, including soteriology and eschatology and so our church is online - both Pastor Hack Hibbs' and Pastor Brandon Holthaus' churches but we are so incredibly lonely and only too aware of how we are becoming frail. We need prayers for there to be at least one other Christian on this island with whom we could come into contact with whom we would share the same love of the Word of God and of Israel. We share the Lord wherever we go but to no avail.
I almost feel guilty writing this because it could be said I am not trusting God enough but there you go, we need, to put it the way a friend puts it, Jesus with skin on.

Please pray for me. My husband passed on to his heavenly home in Oct. I am trying to learn to live without him but it is not easy....I know he is in a better place and without pain but I feel so lost without him. He took care of so many things I know nothing about. It seems I face at least one challenge a day and usually more. Please pray for peace, courage, and faith to trust God for each day. I am a believer but I still get anxious at times...so please pray for what I guess is my lack of faith at those times. I am 80 years old. Pray for my health as well.
