William P. Young, the author of the best-selling novel “The Shack,” which was made into a major motion picture and decried by some as containing blasphemous and false doctrine, outlined in a recent interview that he believes people are still given chances to receive Christ’s sacrifice after death, remarking, “I don’t think the story is over just because you die.”
Spiritual Deception
Jesus said on the Mount of Olives (Matt. 24) that deception would be the primary cultural sign of the last days. Even some of God’s “elect” might be deceived by false theologies. “Good would be called evil and evil good” (Isaiah 5:20). Men would substitute light for darkness and darkness for light. Apostasy would consume churches and denominations that were once solid.

As most of you have noticed for quite a few years now, many old-fashioned, traditional, conservative churches have changed many things in order to conform to a changing world. You might say that they’ve been hacked by demonic programmers.

Should we condemn him for taking the prosperity message to its logical extreme?
Should we say, “That’s between him and God?”
Or should we say, “How do I help the man of God travel in style? Where do I give?”
Lost in the Mail: God’s Invitation to “Revoice”
Oh, no, wait. Revoice is about “welcoming” homosexual sin and gender rebellion, not about theft.
Or is it?
God has offered his grace and salvation to anyone who understands what sin is, believes in Jesus, repents and allows the Holy Spirit to work His sanctification within the believer toward becoming a new creation in Christ.
But let’s be honest. Wouldn’t every human love to receive God’s grace without having to confess sin, or be open to change?
