Dan L.
I would really value your prayers! I have not kept up with physicals in recent years as I should have. I just retired as a teacher & have a physical scheduled for December. In the meantime I have symptoms that concern me such as high blood pressure. In the next few months I am going to go on an extreme change of lifestyle to establish a new healthy baseline before my physical: no sugar, breads, juicing, no alcohol, daily exercise, etc.
BUT, my fear is that I may be too late to reverse what some symptoms may indicate without God’s intervention. I am praying that God will have mercy on me for being foolish health wise… The symptom that I am most concerned about at this moment is a lite-headedness that began a few days ago. I’m mostly back to normal, but due to the blood pressure I was terrified it might be a stroke?
So I am planning to go to the local emergency room tomorrow. Maybe the Dr. will suggest a scan? But I will also ask for medication for the blood pressure because I know this is dangerous to have on an extended basis. (I still hope to reverse this through natural healthy means.)
I have no one else to share this with because I am single… and my siblings would become alarmed - or blow it off since I appear very healthy for my age. (I want to add that all the retirement transitions and a downsizing move coming up have added stress.)
Again, I truly VALUE your prayers in this situation. I have been in “a regular low-level panic” & calling out to God these past few days.
