I have recently had to admit my problem with hoarding (having trouble parting with possessions that hold memories tied to those I love), and it has prevented me from effectively ministering to others as I should as a believer, and as has caused times of much grief and depression. Having recently gone through the loss of my father, I’ve been forced to deal with yet more possessions, and I truly want help to face my sin of holding onto things which are not eternal. I’ve reached out for professional help, but with limited financial resources, my efforts have been ineffective so far. I live with guilt, knowing that I have this sin that is hidden from most people I know. My husband deserves so much better. I’ve prayed and tried for years to make changes, but my mind gets so overwhelmed that I fail. I can’t seem to get over the pain from past hurts that seem to be affecting this; yet I don’t want to be a victim any longer. Please ask the Lord to help me in the way He knows best, and that she will renew my mind so I can change for His glory. I’m terribly discouraged and desperate for His help.

Please pray for my sister Olga who is progressing further into the later stages of Alzheimer’s. She receives dialysis three times a week. Olga previously gave her life to Christ and enjoyed attending church. It seems that family is not as united in providing care for her. Please pray for the Lord’s guidance for us.
