My 13-year-old granddaughter, Olivia, was admitted to a mental health facility yesterday for sever depression. Please pray:
For her and the others there, that the Lord will protect them physically, mentally, and spiritually; that people will be kind; that the therapists will have wisdom and discernment and not lead these kids into more harm; that none of the patients will influence others to be deceived in any way, especially into gender or sexual confusion;
For parents, siblings, and other family members and friends who are affected;
That the Father will work in ways that will heal families to His glory, and in His mercy, grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth that they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will (2 Timothy 2:25-26).

I gave a baby up 26 years ago. It was an open adoption, I wanted it this way so that she could contact me when she was of age. She did contact me and don't know the words to say to her to about God. It has been a long 26 years for both her and I.
When she was a child her adoptive mom let her go to church with her best friend (whose brother is now her husband). I was a Christian church.... I think she said she was in the 6th grade. She quit going though because it meant nothing to her.
The woman I gave her up to for adoption said she was Catholic. She turned out to be a very unpleasant person
There is so much that is involved with this.
I pray for the words to say to her. Every time I try to sit down and write what I want to say to her it becomes a very long explanation. I have prayed for the right words to say but they elude me.
Please pray for my daughter. Please pray that God gives me the right words to say to her that will draw her to him or that some one will come across her path that will say the words that will.
She is going through some hard experiences right now. I want to be bold but I also don't want to push her away.

My elderly mother and two adult children have their own ideology. I blamed myself for the kids lack of interest in God due to my backsliding. I was wild, like my dad. He became a pastor in his 50s and spent the last years of his life in devoted service to Christ. I remained in a rut of legalism and backsliding for almost 30 years, but at 55 I am finally solid. Dad told me everyone has to make a choice despite their upbringing or parent's mistakes. I got there, they can too. Please pray for my mom's and two grown kids salvation with me. And remember the story of the prodigal son. If I can come back to God, anyone can. God bless you all!

Please can you pray for us in Uitenhage, Despatch and Port Elizabeth South Africa.Our homes are being targeted especially at night and when the power company switches power off.There’s a gang that they have been trying to catch for months, but with no luck.They entered homes, shot at residents and even shot at people just shining a flashlight at them.We had them walking past our gate and gazed into our yard.Please pray for our safety as we declare Ps 91 every night
