Hindu mob beat pastor unconscious, burn Bibles; churchgoers live in fear
NEW DELHI — Hindu extremists in central India ransacked a church’s worship building, burned Bibles, and assaulted every member, causing one to lose consciousness, sources said.
In Dhamtari District, the Hindu nationalists attacked during the independent Penial Prayer Fellowship’s worship service in Borsi village, said Pastor Wakish Sahu, who leads the church along with his 57-year-old father, Mannohan Sahu.
“They forcibly entered the church, disrupted the worship service and were carrying wooden rods and shouting slogans like ‘Jai Shri Ram’ [Hail lord Rama],” Pastor Wakish Sahu told Morning Star News.
Threatening the Christians, the attackers told them to stop gathering for worship, he said. They broke all the chairs, fans, and musical instruments, then collected all of the Christian literature along with the Bibles and burned them.
Taking hold of Pastor Mannohan Sahu, they beat him with wooden rods, slapped his face repeatedly, struck his head with wooden sticks and kicked him, Pastor Wakish Sahu said.
“My father was being beaten up, and during this time, blows landed near his ear, and he lost his consciousness,” he said. “The assaulters, probably scared that he was dead or going to die from the beating, called for a glass of water and forced it in his mouth.”
Pastor Mannohan Sahu sustained injuries over all his body, especially on his head, ear, chest, hands and back.
The assailants beat all 15 members present that day, including Pastor Wakish Sahu’s mother when she tried to intervene and save her husband; her hands and head were injured in the process.
“Two women and five men sustained severe injuries and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment,” said Pastor Wakish Sahu.
Only five to seven of the assailants were from the village, the others being outsiders, the pastor said he “had never seen before.”
Pastor Wakish Sahu registered a detailed complaint at the Maganlodh police station, but officers did not register a formal complaint as they indicated they would investigate first. At the time of writing, however, no formal complaint has been registered.
“Since the attack, the believers have stopped coming for worship as they are too scared, and understandably so; but our family members, around 10 of us, still worship at the same time,” Pastor Wakish Sahu said. “We have decided that we will not give in to fear.”

A week ago, or so, I mentioned our little three year old great grand daughter who was being sexually molested by the mother's boyfriend. Divorced mother who shares 50% custody. I'm glad to say that several days ago, little girl was taken to the HOSPITAL Emergency for the third time with more noticeable discomfort than ever... and this little three year old was insisting that people check her complaints. They found physical evidence that would hold up in court (probably) and one of the three doctors even volunteers to testify in court. THIS is so good. But the best thing is we adults believe she won't have to ever return to the Bad Situation and our little girl seems to have been told by the Lord (the Spirit influencing her surely) - that she would never have to go back to her mama's house. Her personality during this respite of 1 1/2 weeks before the next hearing, seems to have relaxed and gone back to happy and confident normal, having believed the Lord's msg to her that she'd never have to go back. (no family member has ever told her this and she's never been with the lawyers or judge). We truly believe she's heard from the Lord. THANK YOU for praying.... and I'd like to give a final report after the upcoming court hearing. Please pray for a good court outcome July 18th.

please pray for Ethan and Freya (shes 1 and half) his daughter for comfort the wife and mom committed suicide) He has to raise her on his own now also for salvation for both. His wife was one of a kind she had an animal sanctuary.
The animals would bite other people but loved her. She also knew how to raise money he does not. He is going to run her rescue he has to pay vet bills, food care and staff. Probably other things I dont know about.She loved holidays and gave the animals treats. It's especially hard now.pray for him all around.

My spouse is a full blown narcissist and verbally abuses me. We have been married for 33 years and I need prayers because I’m really serious about divorce so I don’t have to give and never be appreciated then torn down.
