I would like to ask those reading this to please pray for my husband and me. We are going on six years married this year. For the longest time, I was dead-set on never having kids due to the state of our world. I like kids and believe they are a blessing from the Lord, but I never had baby-fever and literally had no desire whatsoever to have a child. I told myself the only way I would have a child is if the Lord pulled me in that direction.
Lately, I have been praying the Lord would lead me in the direction He wants me to go, and that He would encourage me to pursue His paths. For the last week or so, I have been having thoughts nonstop about having a baby. Something changed and it changed quickly. My husband says he has experienced it too, and we have both been thinking about parenthood a lot. Today, I made an appointment for us to visit the doctor for a routine physical health screening, and we have been talking about a timeline. My husband has also been taking the lead on securing larger purchases we need first, so we can allot an appropriate amount of time toward saving money for a baby.
I never thought I would ever utter the word "parenthood" and my own name in the same sentence, but here we are. I am excited (something I never thought I would experience), but also nervous because of the state of our world. I ask for prayers for this situation, that we are making the right decision and, should we indeed have a baby, that the Lord would place a hedge of protection around us in this world, which is growing exceedingly dark by the day. Please join me in agreement for God to intervene in my situation. I started a new job last week. On orientation day I was told my 1st paycheck would be Friday April 5th. I checked my mail Saturday 4/6, Monday 4/7, Called both the store manager and my HR person twice and emied also. No one is returning my calls, emails. I don't believe in litigation, My landlord thinks I am lying about my employment. My credit/reputation damaged and I am on the verge of being evicted. i am a US Navy veteran. I also pray for God to answer prayers here, and bess Jan and her cats! ( I am a cat lover also-my cat had cancer and I had to get her to sleep.

Please pray for me I have been praying faithfully for last 23 years of my Christian life however I don’t understand why my prayers seem to go unanswered when I have suffered so many health issues was abused and raped by family members have undergone fourteen surgeries.
