Have struggled entire life (many many decades) of issues with how to handle food properly. Struggled with anxiety and addiction to sweets, carbs, fats. Please pray God will give me clarity how to handle this so I take care of the temple, be balanced in soul, mind, and body, and be at peace with body. Hi there. I would like to please request prayers for mine and my husband's housing situation. We have been living in a rental house for the last three years; however, our landlords have us pinned into a corner regarding home repairs and upgrades. If something is amiss, we are expected to contact them and have them arrange to have it fixed; we are not to fix it ourselves for liability reasons. Problem is, our landlords are not reliable and rarely respond to our calls and messages. As a result, we have several things that need fixing, a few of them major, but can't reach the landlords to get them fixed. It honestly feels like the house is beginning to fall apart, but we are powerless to do anything about it.
Our rent has risen to match or even exceed average mortgage rates for much nicer homes in our area, which feels disproportionate. We are also constantly awakened at night from loud traffic, sirens, and extremely loud, modified vehicles along the major roadway on the other side of our back fence. To make matters worse, we are bullied by other residents along our street who speed, run stop signs, and tailgate while we drive the speed limit or even pull into our own driveway. They have even run over others' pets and driven away without looking back. So, we have decided to search for a home to purchase, so we can style it the way we want and fix things ourselves when needed. We are also thinking of starting a family, and do not wish to do so in such close proximity to the dangerous and reckless drivers we must currently contend with.
We are meeting with a bank next Friday to discuss options and, if we are approved for a loan, we will begin making offers on houses we like. However, several houses we are interested in have already been snatched up in the span of a few days, and the number of houses left in our price range have begun to dwindle. This makes me very nervous, but I am putting my trust in the Lord to provide us with a house. Prayers we would find a suitable home before our lease ends would be greatly appreciated. My dad was diagnosed with colo-rectal cancer and has yet to have peace about his decision for surgery. He did a keto thing which reduced the tumors by half and then decided to go ahead with the radiation which did not really do anything other than make him feel sick and tired all the time. Now he has agreed to surgery (Monday May 13) in which the surgeon says he will likely just yank everything out and put him on a bag. I'm praying first that my Dad has peace. Second I pray for the surgeon's hands to be guided by our Father in Heaven so only the diseased parts are removed and he is left intact if it is His Will. Third, I pray that if HIs Will is for the surgery to go as the surgeon said, my dad is given peace to deal with the aftermath of whatever his new life will look like. Thank you Jesus that we can bring all our cares and concerns to you in prayer! I love you!
