My 82 y/o husband, José, is deaf in his left ear and has minimal hearing capacity in his right ear. Daily communication is stressful. José has no friends. He states he trusts no one, based on many unresolved hurts in his life. He continues to pay off his adult son's legal debt; the son exploits José's generosity in his old age to this day. His son is mentally and physically able to work. I continue to give the bitterness of this situation to God. Although José supports my prayer life his heart is hardened toward Jesus. Please pray that José soften his heart toward our precious Savior and be given the opportunity to experience the joy of Jesus in the land of the living. José is weary, bitter, sad.
