I am hearing more and more from believers who say they are among the last days’ remnant, trying to tell the truth and be watchmen on the wall. They are paying a price. They are facing rejection and scorn, even from fellow believers.

While America’s evangelical Christians are rightly concerned about the secular worldview’s rejection of biblical Christianity, we ought to give some urgent attention to a problem much closer to home—biblical illiteracy in the church. This scandalous problem is our own, and it’s up to us to fix it.  How bad is it? Researchers tell us that it’s worse than most could imagine.

The Satanic Temple (TST) sees abortion as a religious ritual and compares it to baptism or communion for Christians. What Democrats and progressives call a “choice,” TST calls child sacrifice and recognizes the religious nature of the practice of abortion.  The new so-called “clinic” in New Mexico will offer abortion drugs to young women ages 17 . . .
