Numerous reports have revealed that New York City’s race-communist mayor Zohran Mamdani will be blocking patriotic Americans from attending the ball dropping to celebrate the United States’ upcoming 250th birthday. The reactions to the news have been rather predictable.

God’s chosen people, the nation Israel, have contributed massively to achievements in many areas of human existence—just as the Lord promised Abraham, Israel’s progenitor. So, it shouldn’t surprise us that Israel is at the center of much turmoil and controversy at this time. This is precisely how Bible prophecy—through prophets such as Zechariah, for example—says Israel will be positioned the closer the world comes to Christ’s return.

The Board of Peace, an invitation-only, U.S.-led, international organization, was created in January to oversee the Gaza ceasefire, manage reconstruction, and weigh in on global conflicts. But its mandate is far broader and more global than rebuilding Gaza, which isn’t mentioned anywhere in its founding charter. Rather, the board “seeks to promote stability, restore dependable and lawful governance, and secure enduring peace in areas affected or threatened by conflict.”

The Pew survey reflects broad trends found in similar polls, such as one from NBC News last month that found support for Israel has declined among all age groups since 2023. The sharpest decline took place among those aged 18-34, almost two-thirds of whom expressed a “negative” view of the country.
