In early 2026, we announced that the new emphasis of Olive Tree Ministries would be Israel. We introduced our outreach titled L’Chaim Israel! (To Life Israel!). Chaim means a double blessing—referring to two lives: our life on earth, and the hope of eternal life. We’re hoping to make the lives of those in Israel better today and that one day soon, many more in Israel will believe in the Messiah Yeshua.

We’ve been on the ground for two years in Israel, working in co-operation with Rock Harbor Church’s Bless Israel outreach, headed by Pastor Brandon Holthaus. Our own Jill Martin Rische and Jean DeJong are active in this outreach in Israel.
The response from the Jewish people has been powerful with many new doors opening for ministry. Everywhere we go, we tell them you love them and you’re praying for them. We share with them that this support, during these difficult times, comes from our Olive Tree family.
This will be our third year in Israel, boldly sharing who we are and who we worship—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and His Son, Yeshua. Our focus is material, practical, financial, and spiritual support of God’s land and people.
We spend Shabbat with believers and non-believers and encourage them; we help soldiers and their families with safety equipment and daily needs; we provide food, clothing and bomb shelters for children—loving them in practical and eternal ways that include providing Bibles, counseling, and street ministry.
And remember, Israel is the key to the last days which has been our focus for decades and will continue. We trust you join us prayerfully and financially.
You can donate to this outreach at our website—www.olivetreeviews.org. Look for the drop-down box titled “Israel Project” (which is the same as L’Chaim Israel!), call, or drop us a check in the mail specifying our Israel outreach.
We caution you about organizations who advertise prominently promising boxes of food for starving Jews around the world. They withhold the gospel which we would never do. Meeting practical needs is fine, but withholding the good news of eternal life is not acceptable to us. We believe you can do both.
Our hope and prayer is that God will bless the work He has called us to do for Israel—“the apple of God’s eye.” (Zechariah 2:8) We believe this effort will counter the rabid antisemitism and blatant Jew-hatred that now has spread around the world in an attempt to globalize the intifada.
Won’t you join us in this outreach as we await His return? Check this category of our website often for updates.
