Kibbutz Zikim
Kibbutz Zikim is located in southern Israel, in the northern Negev Desert, approximately five kilometers from Gaza City.
During her travels in Israel, Jean DeJong had the opportunity to visit the people of Kibbutz Zikim and hear firsthand about their experiences on October 7, 2023. Through Ilona and her family, she discovered a community of truly brave, courageous, and extraordinary people whose strength and resilience are deeply inspiring.
We are honored to share their story with you and hope you enjoy hearing it as much as we did!
Our hope and prayer is that God will bless the work He has called us to do for Israel—“the apple of God’s eye.” (Zechariah 2:8) We believe this effort will counter the rabid antisemitism and blatant Jew-hatred that now has spread around the world in an attempt to globalize the intifada.
Won’t you join us in this outreach as we await His return? Check this category of our website often for updates.
