I live in a small town in Alaska. We just had 4 straight weeks of extreme cold snap weather. The temperature every day was -50 to -65 below (-70 in some areas) Its been many years since we had this kind of cold and I have lived here for 60 years now.
We finally got a break in the weather so it warmed up quite a bit but still around 20 below.
A guy down the road has a couple horses and one 3 year old small horse went down. I went over to see what I could do to help but short of trying to get it warmed up I could'nt do anything more. There were people helping to try to get heat to it. I prayed over the pony and let the owner know I was praying. I hope its a witness to him.
He is taking it to the Equine Vet in Big city of Anchorage which is 350 miles away tomorrow. If it makes it. Pray for the pony to live and for its owner (Daniel) to draw near to the Lord. thanks so much!
