4 months ago my 84yo mother inlaw moved in. She’s always been very negative but we prepared for that.
Her attitude now is playing daily passive/aggressive games, lying & manipulating. Asking God for wisdom & discernment.
Suffice to say, dealing with this is overwhelming. All the professionals say to release these relationships as they are toxic to your mental well being. She’s on a fixed income and we’d love to put her in a home, but unfortunately we can’t.
My prayer request is strength, peace and wisdom on how to interact with her while keeping our sanity. All the advise noted w/professionals has been ineffective. We’re worn down from the games.

UPDATE FOR TASHA:
after 2.5 days in ER treatment area they did an Upper GI series with barium and discovered that whatever caused her initial illness (we think recreational Marijuana use) she lost weight so rapidly it caused her artery to rest on her intestines causing blockage and bile buildup in the stomach.
She still needs prayer as her blood pressure is sky high amd having abnormal ekg again.
Thank you all for your prayers and I ask you to please continue sending them. Help Tasha get out of this scary times and stabilize over tonight and hopefully begin treatment tomorrow.
