Hi my wonderful brothers and sisters at the Olive tree this just came in from a pastor in N.C!
I’d like to ask for a special prayer (or maybe quite a few) for me and my wife. Just between us for now. Maybe you can pass along later to your network of prayer members but for now, just us.
My wife suffers from a degenerative brain disease (they call it a “Parkinsonism” but has very little to do with Parkinson’s Disease) along with a spinal cord injury from a car accident 20 years ago. This was just diagnosed about eight years ago. Her current agitation level (especially directed at me being her primary caregiver) has reached almost an unmanageable stage. She is wheelchair bound and no longer has any use of her hands. She is totally dependent on others to eat, bath, use the bathroom, sit up and down or even roll over in bed. She also has progressive (very severe) struggles with paranoia, hallucinations, short term memory loss and chronic unrelenting pain. Sometimes I wonder how I can continue to care for her. She is often very aggressive and tries to hurt me emotionally because of her desperate conditions.
Please pray for us both. Ask God to guide me especially as I get upset and weary. I know God is with us and put us together. Theresa came to my “rescue” fourteen years ago after my first wife left me for a junior high school sweetheart (after we had three grown children and 29 years of marriage) which ultimately ended in a horribly hurtful very public divorce. Theresa has been my closest friend and healing companion ever since. Which makes this struggle 100 times harder than anyone can imagine.

Jane is my friend at church. She was widowed in March of 2024. She is struggling with extreme grief and struggling to be able to pray. She rarely comes to church since her husband went to Heaven and says that she sits and cries during the service when she does come. She has two sons and 3 grandchildren, so she is not all alone. Please pray for her grief to be lessened, that she will be able to pray again and come to church for the support that we want to give her.

Our church in the northern metro area of the Twin Cities is having a very difficult time. We lost most of our younger families when a youth minister left to start his own church 6-7 years ago and we are struggling along with our new, younger senior minister trying to find ways to bring in families. We are a conservative, Bible based church that doesn’t teach on prophecy, but could be a good option for people who can’t find a good church.

Praise Jesus and Thank you Heavenly Father, our church had VBS June 5-7th when we begin on the first night we had 4,
children,I went into the kitchen and then outside and asked God to please send children like He did last year,we went next door and invited the children, well God did a Miracle He sent 7
boys, our total for the three days was 13 youths.
I praise and Thank Jesus for a very fast answer to our prayers
and the children heard the word of God and how much He loves them.
Please pray for our family as we prepare to travel to Nashville for Family Reunion please pray that our sons and grandchildren be able to join us Safe Traveling mercies for all

There is a battle this morning that our 60 yo niece Lori will be facing. At 10 AM this morning she will be having another bronchoscopy of her lungs to see if her carcinoid type of lung cancer continues to invade her airway. WE ARE SEEKING SOLIDARITY IN FAITH with others on this page that “no weapon formed against her may prosper”and that GOD is greater than cancer and it MUST BOW to HIS authority and command! Her Jeremiah 29:11 plan for her life SHALL be a testament to HIS faithfulness, in Jesus name! Thank you and God bless all who agree with this declaration.

Please Pray: I had a Pacemaker put in on February 27 of this year. I've been very depressed and my quality of life is low. I don't have much energy; I still get so tired. I'm trying to improve and remain positive. I just want to feel better and feel alive again. This is so hard. Plus my hip is also out of alignment and causes mobility issues.
I'm also losing my home. I'm in the process of moving. I'm waiting for an apartment. I'm trying to trust God. It seems the more I trusted - the more things fell apart. I'm so down.
