I would like to please request prayers for my granddad's heart. I have mentioned this issue a few times, so I will give the Reader's Digest version. My aunt (my mom's sister) suffered a divorce and moved back home into my granddad's house. She is an alcoholic and badly regressed while living with my granddad, which ruined the relationship between her and my mom. My mom said she needed a break from my aunt, so she and my dad took a two-month-long sabbatical from family gatherings, which expires at the end of the year. My mom's goal was/is to get her heart right with the Lord so she could forgive my aunt and respond to her in a more Christlike manner (instead of being angry), but her decision to take a sabbatical greatly upset my granddad.

Since then, my aunt bought her own house and officially moved out of my granddad's house. However, my granddad is still angry at my mom and says she isn't acting biblical. My mom recognizes that the issue is with her, which is why she wants to use the sabbatical to address it, but my granddad says what she is doing isn't right. He is the pastor at our church, but has done nothing to deal with my aunt--whose alcoholism is unrepentant and so she comes to church drunk--according to, for example, the biblical principles outlined in Matthew 18, yet condemns my mom for withdrawing from situations that cause her to stumble and sin.

My mom has suffered a lot of abuse over the years, from physical to emotional. She has suffered from mistreatment, slander, and other types of emotional abuse from family and friends, in addition to physical maladies such as cancer. Her own sisters have mockingly called her "holier than thou," "a dark force," and lots of other things, and as soon as she asked to take a sabbatical because this type of behavior--combined with the sleep deprivation caused by her post-cancer drugs--finally caused her to snap in anger, her own father told her she is acting unbiblical. This is on top of the fact that my grandmother passed away a few years ago, so my mom can no longer talk with her about these things.

I am devastated for her, and no one seems to care except my dad, husband, and me. My granddad just says 'my aunt is my aunt' (live and let live) and doesn't do a single thing to address her behavior, but has no qualms yelling at my mother at the lunch table after she snapped because my aunt provoked her to anger. He is solely angry at my mom (and his anger is worsening), while my aunt gets a free pass. We don't even know if he will want to see my mom anymore after the sabbatical ends. I am not even 30 years old and I am constantly defending my mom from attacks from all sides, and now I am doing so from my own granddad. Please pray for his heart to soften, because I fear a dissolved relationship between he and my mom would be enough to break her.

Hi there. I would just like to share an update about a prior prayer request. Thank you all for your prayers. My husband confessed to me a few weeks ago that he was watching inappropriate content online behind my back, even though he had promised me a number of years ago that he would stop looking at inappropriate content altogether. He confessed his sin and sought forgiveness from the Lord, and then he asked for my forgiveness, which I granted him and we moved on.

Last week, I posted a prayer request about my internal struggle with feeling inadequate, betrayed, and extremely suspicious of either a relapse or an eventual affair. Unfortunately, I reached the point where I was questioning my marriage and thinking I had made a mistake, especially because I was in a few unfaithful relationships in the past where I was cheated on, either emotionally or physically. I was also retreating from a prior decision to have a baby with my husband, and wanted to forego having a child altogether due to the intense pain I was feeling.

Thank you all again for your prayers, because something is changing in my marriage for the better. This incident inspired my husband to search the Bible for information about being a good husband and loving me in a Christlike manner. Lately, my husband has been a lot kinder to me, has been more attentive, and has been stepping in to help me with things that technically fall under my domain. He has been more patient with me and is complaining a lot less. He told me he searched the Bible and better understood his role as a husband, which is to selflessly serve and love me in a Christlike way without expecting anything in return, and to better appreciate the things we have and the things I do for him.

I was shocked. Once my husband told me this information, my heart softened and my pain began to cease. I realize this outcome, despite the terrible situation that caused it, was better than I could have hoped for. I prayed the Lord would use this situation to help repair our marriage, and He did so better than I could have asked for. Thank you, thank you, thank you all for your prayers. They were needed much more than you all could know.

Answered prayer! Our insurance company re-instated us. Now we just need my husband’s life insurance to be re-instated.

Also pray for a relative. Relatives family and ours were together at Thanksgiving. We were asked if we watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. We said a little and we’re not pleased with it. They asked why and we said bc of the CRT/ woke/ lgbqt agenda by the liberal media and elite. They took a family event and pushed propaganda. I mentioned how they made it almost entirely without white people to further their narrative and changed up the traditional Santa and Mrs Claus. My relative took it as I was being racist and said in a very condescending tone we love people but can hate sin. I then said we do love people and pray for their salvation as these lifestyle choices were against God and we don’t embrace their sins. Tolerance of their satanic agenda is wrong. Truth is what Jesus taught. He always asked sinners 1) do you want to be healed? Or 2) do you want to be forgiven?

This family member has spread to her kids and husband that I am racist and not showing the love of God for addressing the propaganda. I even reached out to her the next day and clarified I have many friends that are from all ethnic backgrounds. I shared Romans 1 was my reference. I was in no way insulting one group. Pray that my relative and her family (who attend church with us) will see past the superficial and not falsely judge me.

Continued prayer for items my sister said I could have while she was dying. A centerpiece, a purse, a wreath, and a t-shirt. The pictures were given to my other sis. That's ok. I have no sentiments of her life on earth.

Please pray for these Christians:

At least 40 members of New Bethesda Jesus Tribal Ministry in Michwar Village, in east-central India, remain sheltered at church two weeks after the village council banned them from the community unless they renounce their faith.

The Christians are among 100 impacted by a joint resolution adopted Nov. 17 by eight village councils in the Sukma District of Chhattisgarh State. Christians who don’t denounce Jesus must leave the villages or their fields, belongings and property will be looted, the joint resolution threatened.

When the Christians in Michwar Village tried to file a police complaint on Nov. 18, they returned home to find a mob of at least 1,500 individuals looting their agricultural harvests and demanding that they either renounce their faith or flee the village.

Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) reported. Police left the area without intervening, despite the guarantee of freedom of religion or belief under Article 25 of the Indian Constitution.

Pray that my family members reunite for Christmas. My youngest daughter hasn't spoken to only sibling and my husband and I for more than 2 years, despite my efforts to reach out to her. She never told me why - just that she "doesn't want a relationship". My husband is no longer on speaking terms with his sister and her husband. Six of us used to get together for Christmas every year - now there is only my husband, my older daughter and myself. Please pray for our family to forgive and be reconciled with each other this Christmas and may God richly bless you for caring enough to pray for us in Jesus' name! AMEN

Ha-Young, Ye-Young, Eui-Sup, Jung-Won, In-Sook, and Eun-Tae, please pray for us and for all those who pray for us.

Most people, after reflecting on what has happened in their lives, often use their own logic and focus on what they are satisfied with, saying that "God did this for me" or "this was God's will." I don’t deny these things, but the Bible teaches that before God acts according to His will, He first speaks to those He has chosen and loves. In John 14:29, Jesus tells His disciples that He speaks to them beforehand so that when things happen, they might believe. The Bible also clarifies that faith is not for everyone, and it is something we can only receive if God grants it to us. In Ezekiel 36, it says that God removes our stony hearts "from our flesh" before giving us a new spirit. He gives us a new heart and His Spirit so that we may live according to His commandments. Jesus also said, "My words are spirit, and he who keeps My commandments, he who loves Me, will be loved by Me, and I will manifest Myself to him." And His commandment is this: "Love one another."

In conclusion, believing in Him and obeying His commandments depends entirely on God. He speaks to those He loves before things happen, and all blessings come from Him to those who ask.

Pray that God will grant us the following: "Take our stony hearts from us and speak to us directly with Your own mouth; bring to pass all that You have decreed in our lives, so that we may see what You have done and believe what You said from the beginning; and help us all to keep Your commandments and make our dwelling with You."
