In April of this year, a sudden storm caused a big limb to fall and hit my back car bumper, leaving a large hole in it. I did not ask the owner of the house, which we had rented for 10 years, to pay to fix it, only to possibly have the other dead branches trimmed. He left and returned shortly with a 30 day eviction notice.
No one that I asked knew of any places for rent. We put our things in a reasonably priced store room, and went to a motel for a few weeks.
Our only income is my SS check.
On the day of my next check, we moved into the only apartment that was available. Sparing the details, it soon proved to be uninhabitable.
We put the rest of our things in the storeroom, and returned to the motel.
My check this past Wednesday must cover 5 weeks due to being each 3rd Wednesday of every month.

Please pray for mother and daughter who are struggling with hurt, confussion and despair. God knows. We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up our friend’s sister and her daughter into Your loving care. Lord, You see the burdens they carry, the emotional pain, the confusion, and the struggles that words can’t fully express. You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3), and so we ask for Your healing presence to surround them right now.
We pray for peace that surpasses all understanding to calm anxious hearts and troubled minds (Philippians 4:7). Bring clarity where there is confusion, hope where there is despair, and strength where there is weakness.
For the daughter, Lord, we pray that You would touch her deeply—comfort her, speak truth into her identity, and help her to see herself through Your eyes. Bring the right counselors, mentors, and support into her life. Shield her from lies of the enemy and plant her feet firmly on Your truth.
For the mother, give her wisdom, patience, and peace. Help her to love her daughter with grace and endurance, and to rest in Your strength when her own is not enough.
We ask that Your Holy Spirit would move powerfully in their lives—restoring, renewing, and reviving what feels lost. Let Your light shine in this dark moment and lead them step by step into wholeness and healing.

My sister is in a bad way physically and emotionally from being in out of the hospital and following doctors orders without any change to her life threatening infection. I'm asking for wisdom on knowing what we should be doing. And total healing for her. Jesus is Lord !

Please pray for my friend who has been deceived and led away from the simple gospel to a works based yoke in a false religion. Please ask the Lord to show her truth. Pride reared up in her when I gave scripture that disagrees with the practices they participate in. It's a spirit of religion that I have encountered before. Pray God removes the blinders. Please also ask the Lord to give me wisdom in this. Also please pray for salvation for extended family (Wards) and our sons and their families (Lloyd's). That we would see their professions bear fruit in their personal faith and relationships, and salvation of their wives.

My sister has a terrible cough while she is on heavy hospital transfusions for a serious blood infection. She needs relief from this 24-7 cough !!! Please pray that it goes away. We are grateful for your prayers. Blessings in Christ. DD
