I had asked for prayer as fires broke out near our home, and just five days later, another fire ignited only five miles away and was spreading fast!
Because we live by the river, helicopters flew directly over our house as they collected water and dropped it on the flames. At one point, six helicopters were flying over our home—the noise was deafening. My husband was understandably concerned, but I reminded him: we had already prayed, and others were praying too. I truly believed those prayers would carry us through.️
And they did. It was a miracle. Fire crews worked tirelessly into the night, and having six helicopters focused on our fire was incredibly rare. They had it under control by morning—something that normally takes weeks in our area, where the forest floor is like dry tinder.
That night, I put in earplugs and went to bed—peacefully. Even with the fire still nearby, I slept soundly, fully trusting that God had heard every prayer.
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee.”
Thank you, dear brothers and sisters, for lifting us up. ️

I know I shouldn’t worry but I am so concerned about a skin biopsy that I had two days ago on my cheek. The area has been bothering me for some time now and the dermatologist decided it’s time to biopsy the site. I will know within two weeks if it’s cancer. Please keep me in your prayers . Thank you for praying! I ended up going to the ER on Saturday because I was struggling to breathe. I’m now admitted into the hospital and have lots of attention from kind doctors and nurses. Please pray for them also, they work hard and have so much on their plate. They think I have a lung infection that has spread to my heart. Lots more tests ahead. Thank God for His comfort and care. Pray for healing. I’m hoping to see my first great Grand child in a few weeks!
