Hi there. I would like to ask those reading this to please pray for me this Christmas season. Christmastime has been a very difficult time of year for me over the last several years, and it feels like it gets harder each year. I am only 28 years old and I struggle with so much sadness when the Christmas season approaches. I don't feel like that should be the case for someone my age.
My family--immediate and extended--is very, very divided and broken apart, stemming from ideological differences, death, and divorce. Very few of us identify as Christian. The rest who no longer wish to be part of the Christian faith continue to either a) nurse grudges and double-down in their lifestyle choices to try to justify those choices against those of us who won't affirm them (so relationships with them are on shaky ground) or b) obliterate relationships with the family entirely. Two of my closest family members passed away unexpectedly: my uncle from cancer in 2018 and my only living grandma from viral pneumonia in 2021. Their deaths have plunged several family members into such intense spiritual darkness that they have cut ties with closest family members, attempted suicide, or something similar. And each year, something new emerges that deepens the brokenness.
My heart aches this time of year because I fondly remember times when our family was whole and wasn't divided. Everyone back then followed the Lord and Christmas was such a special time where we were all together and could enjoy the each other's company and worship the Lord in unity. I used to be so excited for Christmas and it truly was a special time of year because everyone was on the same page and full of joy. Now, our familial bond has been upended and we're no longer the same family we once were. Each year, this becomes tougher and tougher for me to bear. I know Christmas is about Jesus' birth and that is certainly the greatest celebration of all; yet, I can't help but feel an empty hole in my heart and miss my family during the Christmas season. I've been praying for years to have my family back, but each year, it becomes divided even more. It feels like Satan is rubbing salt in my wounds.
With Christmas approaching, my heart is breaking all over again. I have gained a wonderful family-in-law with my marriage which has been a huge blessing, but it also makes me miss my own family because I see my in-laws undivided and united, the way my family used to be. This year in particular, the pain seems worse to the point where I cry so hard I almost vomit, or I am unable to sleep at night. I don't know what to do. Any prayers for myself and my family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

... that my daughter and her brothers will be healed of the pain and scars their father left them years ago through suicide. A real healing from heaven for all three of them...that Jesus will step in and heal those wounds completely .

These are Simon the magician followers of Gnosticism and false doctrine and teachings.
Too many are falsely being led to either hell or to be asleep and not warn others. We need true awakenings and awareness.
Reformed theology is not any better. We who heed the Bible need to come out of these churches and speak OUT!

Please pray for Derek (the step brother of my nephew's wife) He is 41 years old. A week ago today he was hospitalized after multiple mini strokes. He is diagnosed with myocarditis and has another stroke yesterday. He is in ICU.

Heavenly Father, please put this on the hearts of the disengaged members of the Body of Christ who say they are concerned about unsecured U.S. borders: They complain, but make excuses for not joining other members of the Body of Christ in conveying those concerns to the White House Switchboard. Please help them understand, Father God, that they are called to active, public-spirited citizenship and will also be judged for negligence in protecting their families, neighborhoods, communities and country against the terrorists, foreign saboteurs and enemy soldiers entering wide-open U.S. borders.
