My family followed the Lord and uprooted our family to move away from everything and everyone we know 5 years ago. Long story short- it’s been an incredibly painful and lonely journey since. The new area we moved to is very unwelcoming and we’ve experienced every kind of hurtful social interaction imaginable. The worst of it from our next door neighbors who have hated us from day 1. They have been harassing us, intentionally creating nuisances in countless ways to disturb our peace, infringe upon our normal rights, push and test every boundary, break laws and ordinances that directly affect us and our home. They have gone out of their way to cuss at us, give us the middle finger, yell death wishes at us, and so much more. They even used atv’s and roosters and dogs as forms of harassing us. They have forced us to involve authorities, intentionally push us to the breaking point where we have to over and over again. Then they become enraged and ramp up bad behaviors and threats, while continuing to defy instructions authorities. They challenge and fight with authorities, abuse any grace and loop hole, blame everyone else, act like the victims, never accept personal responsibility and won’t be held accountable. They’ve sent family and friends to confront us at our door, though the law is on our side. Recently they went on a public smear campaign against us, turning this small community against us, misrepresenting everything to make us look like the bad guys and leaving out the facts that show they are the perpetrators. They encouraged and incited violent threats against us- to assault me (wife and mom), shoot me, burn our house down, and form a mob to come confront me. They turned neighbors against us, inciting some to join in harassment of us. All while also mocking our faith as Christians. So far the authorities have not been able to or have chosen it to hold them fully responsible, and now trying to protect us from them by not holding them accountable and making them angry. They have been getting warnings that they get away with ignoring. We now feel unsafe in our home, yard and community. We have become so isolated and painfully lonely. Our neighbors have a tangibly dark energy coming off of them, when they are gone for long periods of time tge air smells sweeter. I know we are in a spiritual warfare. We are barely surviving this and need God’s help quickly. He has been so quiet and we feel distant. We’ve even been rejected from churches here! I don’t understand why God answered our prayers with a home and yard we love (He called it our Healing Home) when we answered His calling to move here, but also put us right next to the worst people we have ever known and why we keep getting the message that we don’t belong here. These people have destroyed so much that could have been beautiful. We just want to enjoy our home and yard, and build into positive relationships. We are great neighbors and friends to have. We don’t feel God telling us to move again anytime soon, but we can’t keep living like this either. Our bad neighbors have wanted to move though and tried several times but failed due to poor decisions. We are pleading with the Lord to intervene and intercede in every area of this situation. To restore all that has been lost, to let us come out of this with no smell of smoke, to show us He is still with us, to change our bad neighbors hearts but also move them far away from us and hold them accountable, to protect us and help us thrive. To hand pick their replacement with good Godly people who will be like healing salve to this neighborhood and our home and yard. Or to open doors for a miracle that moves us away from this and to a better place. We have no one but God and we desperately need His help.
