Prophecy Watch

The questions and answers that follow were part of an interview conducted by Pastor Billy Crone. My prayerful hope is that it will help believers be always ready to answer those who question why we believe Jesus will call the Church to Himself before the Tribulation begins.

Fear stands out as the key motive behind the silence. Pastors also say they do not understand prophecy, but do they take the time to learn or turn to those who do understand it?  Someone might ask: “Why does that matter? Does it really make a difference if preachers keep quiet on future things as long as they proclaim the Gospel with biblical clarity?”

Once you say that you believe in the Rapture, the scoffers will invariably counter with this question, “How can you believe something that no one believed until the late 1800’s?” As we have already established in this series, the Rapture is a biblical event. Scripture clearly describes this yet future and sudden chain of actions . . . . 

Last week we looked at the Black Horse of Revelation 6 and its associated inflation. This week we’ll look at the Ashen horse that follows.  The word “ashen” in the Greek is literally “pale green.” It indicates something going from green and fruitful and turning toward yellow and dying.

Nothing in recent history has lent itself to the debut of Revelation 13:16 like the international response to this virus. And the consequence of that response is what demands attention from believers. That is, we are on the threshold of the scenario that is described in Revelation 13, and this emphasizes to all who have eyes to see and ears to hear that the removal of the Church is indeed imminent.
