Theoretically, self-replicating AI systems could send copies of themselves all over the world through the Internet, and once that happens we will never be able to shut them down. At that stage, there would be very little that we could do if ultra-intelligent AI entities decided to go to war with humanity.
What happens to our pets if the Rapture really happens? That’s the question my 10-year-old daughter asked me—and it stopped me in my tracks. At first, it sounded like a lighthearted question about our puppy, Pretzel. This isn’t about setting dates or predicting timelines. This is about a Father who is kind, compassionate, and deeply in love with His creation—including the animals we care for.
