Is it just me, or does it feel like time is speeding up? Days blur into weeks, weeks into months. Headlines come and go so quickly that yesterday’s crisis is forgotten by breakfast. We’re overwhelmed by schedules, distracted by screens, and burdened by busyness. 

MacArthur has garnered controversy over the years because of some of his theological views, including on issues like the Pentecostal movement and female preaching. In 2013, MacArthur held a conference and published a critique of Charismatic churches titled Strange Fire: The Danger of Offending the Holy Spirit with Counterfeit Worship.

The big question here is why the Secret Service decided to sit on this threat. What were the political views of the officials responsible for the decision not to brief others within the chain of command? Were they leftists? Did they want Trump dead?
