MacArthur has garnered controversy over the years because of some of his theological views, including on issues like the Pentecostal movement and female preaching. In 2013, MacArthur held a conference and published a critique of Charismatic churches titled Strange Fire: The Danger of Offending the Holy Spirit with Counterfeit Worship.

The big question here is why the Secret Service decided to sit on this threat. What were the political views of the officials responsible for the decision not to brief others within the chain of command? Were they leftists? Did they want Trump dead?

They believe in a non-Jewish Jesus that was born in a metaphoric Bethlehem that existed, and still exists, in the basement of their Church. Their Christian faith has no need for Israel or the Jews.
