There is a group today known as the New Apostolic Revelation who claim to have special revelation from God. They teach Dominion Theology, which is the belief that the church must have dominion over Education, Religion, Family, Business, Government/Military, Arts/Entertainment, and Media before Jesus can return. This is a direct contradiction of the book of Revelation and Jesus’ own words in Luke 17. The counsel of the Lord when such things happen is do not go after them or follow them.

Because these pastors believe that the church has replaced Israel in God’s prophetic program, they see no scriptural significance in the reemergence of Israel as a nation. As a result, they do not believe we live in the last days, nor do they recognize the signs of the rapidly approaching Tribulation period.
