Prayers & Praise: Thank you all for praying for my daughter & her feline Miss Eve.
On August 29th, my daughter had her 29th birthday & her present from her husband was
" I don't love you anymore, I want a divorce." My daughter has been absolutely devastated, she never saw this coming. It affected her, and it affected her Japanese Bobtail cat so much that Miss Eve began to shut down. Her kidneys still are not working & the vets are doing all they can to save Miss Eve's life. But she is improving. I really do believe her improvement is the result of prayers. Asking for prayer that Miss Eve will recover completely. She is my daughters only friend right now, being involved with the US Navy, moving around so often, can be quite lonely. Miss Eve is very important to my daughter & Miss Eve is an incredible cat.
The Praise is that my daughter has not spoken to me for almost a year. She has just been aloof & I kept praying and asking God why? I don't understand.
But this morning I got to talk to her on the phone for a long long time, a good conversation, about everything going on with her, husband, he is definitely having a mental breakdown, and with her cat Miss Eve. We talked about everything & I told her how everyone is praying for her & Miss Eve.
Before my daughter was ever born, God named her. HE named her Brianna which means Strong, because HE knew she would be strong. This morning she told me she looked up her name to see what it means: Strong In Valor, Strong, strength. God named her. The fact that she looked up her name speaks volumes. That she is praying about this broken marriage, and about her cat Miss Eve feels like a miracle. My daughter walked away from Jesus when she was brokenhearted & met this Navy man. She left God behind. But because of what is going on in her life right now, with Miss Eve's life on the line, my daughter is praying & she is remembering who she is & how I did everything I knew to do, to raise her to know Jesus.
Praise.. I am thankful I got to talk to my very Strong daughter & God uses even the most difficult times in our lives to work all things together for good. We don't know the end of the story about the Navy husband, he is definitely having an acting out, rebelling crisis going on, a lot of back story there .But this prayer request is for daughter to make wise decisions, to let God help her & heal, & for Miss Eve. Praying Miss Eve will make a complete recovery. Miss Eve is too young to be experiencing kidney failure. Please continue to pray for Miss Eve. God is answering prayers. Not out of these woods yet. But Praise !! thank you!!
