Please pray for my upcoming abdominal surgery on Thursday, September 24. I have several umbilical hernias that need repaired. Had 2 recent ER visits, the second required an ambulance due to the pain and possible intestine stricture. Was told by my Dr it needs to be an open abdominal incision for the best result as laparoscopic repair may not hold as well. May be a more painful recovery.
I have a platelet disorder (it’s considered a blood cancer) where I make too many platelets so I have been on oral chemo for the past 8 years to keep the count more stable.
Please pray for no unnecessary blood clots, no infection and limited pain with quick recovery.
I also want to thank those of you prayer warriors who prayed for my hip replacement just four months ago this past May 5. I honestly could feel the presence of the Lord and all went well, no more hip pain and finally getting sleep again.
The only negative is our adult daughter Amy and her husband Chad have disowned us due to us not being able to travel and help with our two young grandsons. Amy lives over an hour away and I was recovering from my hip replacement so I would not be traveling till all was well. And now another surgery. My husband and I are in shock and heart broken over their treatment of us as they are believers in the Lord. Pray for restoration.
