Our street is being redone, I was promised by the city that my large native butterfly garden that I worked so hard to establish would be protected. It ended up not being able to be saved. Now they are saying they will not reimburse me for my losses.Not only that but they have some of fencing away to our bad neighbors by mistake. They said they would correct that but they didn’t do I asked for reimbursement for that and I was promised they would but they haven’t. I would talk to my neighbors but they are unapproachable and have previously threatened my life (which I have been asking for prayers over). Plus they saw this was done and could make it right themselves but were happy to steal from us. We had already given them the fence they have now, the Lord instructed us to years ago, so in addition to this we feel extra wronged. This is now going on for two summers and the road is not finished yet. I have been so nice to the city and done everything right. Now I’m getting the run around. I can’t even work to redo the garden until they are done with the road. It takes 3 years to establish a native garden. It is also very costly and I already redid this garden once before. I’m really discouraged, it meant a lot to me and now it’s completely ruined. My bad neighbors are just awful and we need deliverance from them, and I feel like I’m just getting the short end of the stuck everywhere I turn. Please stand with me in asking God to grant me favor and provision over the garden and neighborhood, that God would have the city do right by me. I’ve prayed over this since before the work started and now I’m left with nothing. I’m not even sure if I’m going to live here long enough to see the fruits of my labor but I might stay for a very long time too depending on what the Lord wants and does, so I’m praying for the Lord to show me what I should and shouldn’t do. Please pray for me, for the city and garden, my bad neighbors, and direction from God.
