I was released from a job a few weeks ago by phone on a Friday afternoon. I told the guy he needed to rethink the idea of firing people by phone like that. Anyway, I'm now looking for a new job, but my wife and I had paid for a trip to do a New Testament tour of Greece and the surrounding areas. It's non-refundable, and the insurance had a weasel clause. Pray I get a job before then, one God will use and/or grow me in, and they will allow us to take that trip too.

you have been praying my daughter Leah would get hours at her work at Universal Studios (the park) Hollywood. They hired her, make her pay into a union then do not put her on regular work schedule, told her to call-in each week. well, she IS being called and IS working!!!! thank you.

Hi there. I would like to request prayers for my husband and me. My husband is under a lot of stress--new house, going back to school, etc.--which is taking its toll on him. Unfortunately, because of this, he becomes very harsh and snappy, often taking his anger out on me. I try to be gentle and understanding, but sometimes it makes me feel very rejected and depressed. When he does this, I keep my distance, but on the inside, I feel a recurring pain in the back of my throat and have to fight back tears so I don't upset him more. (I have suffered from bullying and mistreatment from peers, as well as verbal abuse from past relationships, so I am particularly sensitive to emotional outbursts.) I don't blame him for feeling stressed; I just wish he wasn't so hard on me sometimes. Prayers that he would be kinder to me when feeling stressed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
