My prayer is for my adult children
One son went into the Navy as a believer from a young age and came out an atheist and angry. He cannot hold a job or fetching together and is nearly 40 yrs old
The other child is a younger daughter who moved to L.A. to pursue music. The industry is evil and I don’t think her style of music is pleasing to GOD. She claims to believe but won’t stand up against the evil in Hollywood due to fear of being canceled before she gets started.
I pray that God puts the perfect people in these children’s paths to bring them out of the darkness.

Please pray for my wife as she has come down with dementia. This is a horrible disease and is very debilitating. As of today she has lost over 50 pounds, is very weak and her skin just hangs on to her bones. She loves the Lord and He has yet to answer back.

It is with a saddened heart that I type this prayer request for my in-laws and my husband. My sister-in-law's new boyfriend is now living with her and our two nieces, coincidentally not too long after our nieces began expressing a genuine interest in having a relationship with the Lord. As predicted, this arrangement is already sowing discord in the family dynamic, aimed squarely at my husband--the only one who has told the truth and voiced displeasure with not only the boyfriend, but this whole living arrangement as well--and, by extension, myself also.
This past weekend, my in-laws showed the most deplorable level of disrespect toward my husband than I have ever seen before. In short, my husband firmly set boundaries due to an ill-timed, last-minute change in plans for a gathering that took place this past Sunday after church. This change was initiated by the boyfriend, which placed an immense burden on us to address at the same time we were attending church. So, my husband firmly set boundaries, asking that this sort of haphazard change to plans without prior consultation please not happen again.
Setting the boundaries offended my sister-in-law; she immediately said that she and her boyfriend were an intrusion and that they weren't coming anymore. The whole rest of the family jumped to her defense while simultaneously condemning my husband and lecturing him that his reaction was wrong and "our family is just growing." (For the record, in this text exchange, my husband never once said anything bad about the boyfriend or that anyone was an intrusion, so the fact that they accused him of that is very telling.) No one defended him except me. Again, this was all happening while we were in church, which we have expressed to my in-laws that we attend each Sunday, yet made no difference to them in this case.
My husband and in-laws have smoothed things over, but the level of disrespect from his own family for setting boundaries, in response to something the boyfriend did, is unacceptable. My sister-in-law explained her reason for offense, but the fact that the other family members rushed to defend her, while she is living with her unmarried boyfriend, but not defend my husband, who does not agree with their living arrangement, is telling. My husband is relieved now that things have been smoothed over, but I am still very disturbed by how these events transpired. I honestly feel this was spiritual in nature and I feel this will not be the only incident. Prayers for this mess and prayers for my in-laws' salvation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

Pray for my son Steven. He has made a profession of faith but does not live it in relation to his wife. He ignores her and doesn’t talk to her. Pray God will change his heart. Our youngest son is taking the bar exam today and tomorrow. I am asking for prayer for calmness and confidence in the knowledge that he learned in school and obviously that he would pass. Most importantly, lift up all these young people who are soon entering the legal profession that they would practice law with integrity and seek the Lord for guidance in any of their decision making. I am so sorry to keep bothering you all for prayer. Please pray that God will condemn me of my faults. Pray that He will give me the strength to change my life. I am alone and have always had to make it on my own. I have depression, anxiety and PTSD from a childhood that was void of ANY love, nurturing, protection and was sexual abused by my father and mentally abused by my mother. I am so tired of having to face every day so exhausted, so mentally drained. No matter where I have lived, I never feel like I am home. I do not know if it is possible to live in peace, to have a home that you can feel love, acceptance and protection in.
I try to pray but my mind wonders every where.
I have know the joy of the Lord but; of course, Christians will have trials in their lives.
I have forgiven my parents but recently they have stopped talking to me. I am older and I don’t know if one ever gets over the longing to be loved as a child.
I try to use my hurt as a tool to help others. My heart breaks for all those in pain in this world. There is so much of it.
My pain makes me sensitive to others. It makes me realize how much others are suffering which opens my eyes to the blessings that I do have. God is good. We all have an expiration date. One day all the tears will be washed away. Praise God. But please ask God to show me what to do in the situation that I now am in. Thank you. God bless.
