After a stoke (8 years ago) I started suffering from neuropathy and spasms and tinnitus. Hestitant to visit doctors, since one got me addicted to valium, and after Covid more alert. Taking all kinds of herbs, but the sleep often does not come at night. I feel like the woman with the bloodflow, having seen all doctors and lots of money. I now look for guidance at Jesus. Please pray for my niece Kathleen who just had knee replacement surgery today. Doctors say surgery was a success & is at home now. She’s in her mid fifties & doctors said they would have preferred she wait till in her sixties but she’s been in so much pain had to have soon as possible. End of a situation. I have been living in my car for 5 months and homless for a year. I fled satanic abuse. I do not have enough food or water (organic, raw, and vegan) because od my health condition. I have begged and prayed to God. I am discouraged. I need God to give me a new opportunity out of the country and immediate justice for my situation. I have looked for multiple resources and have barely enough. It's nice to know we're not alone in the housing market mess! (Referring to the other prayer request for the couple who just put an offer down on a house. We're praying for you two!!)
Hubby and I are in a similar boat, and it feels like it is down to the wire with the house we're interested in very highly above the rest. Thankfully, this house hasn't sold yet and no one, so far as we know, has put an offer in. I am absolutely in love with this house, and we will be touring the house again tomorrow with hubby's mom and stepdad because they have a careful eye and know how to negotiate very effectively.
However, I'm getting very nervous this house will be snatched up before we can tour it tomorrow and potentially make an offer. The reason why is that, as I speak, three homes we were also set to tour tomorrow (after we re-tour our top contender) have already been purchased in a matter of hours. We are certain others will be purchased between now and then. There is currently a housing shortage in our city, and Californians who moved here within the last several years are purchasing homes in multiples for Airbnbs or as rentals, which deprives hardworking city natives of purchasing a home for their families.
My husband, understandably, does not want to put an offer down on our top-contending house until his mom and stepdad give the "OK." This could be as soon as tomorrow, which hubby is fine with. However, seeing how quickly houses are flying off the market just as quickly as they appear is unnerving. This is intensified further because stuff in our current rental home is breaking left and right (with flaky landlords who haven't looked into fixing what's wrong) and our rent is too high for the house in its current condition. Our rent will go up to $2,150 in November if we renew the lease, so we would like to be out before then, especially because the landlords are likely not going to fix what's wrong with the house (including several major issues).
I am steeped in prayer right now, and I know deep in my heart that the Lord will provide us with the best house within our means in His time. I am trying not to be nervous, but it's easier said than done. Prayers for this situation would be so greatly appreciated (and for the other folks caught in this home-buying circus as well). Thank you so much.

I made the serious mistake of marrying an unbeliever and have been suffering emotional and psychological abuse from him for 22 years. My pastors have told me to be the best example of a loving, patient Christian wife that I can be and hopefully win him over by my example. It is incredibly difficult to love this man. He is controlling and has told me he needs my income to help him pay the bills. He mocks me for my beliefs and thinks I am a fool to pay tithes and offerings to my church or any church. I feel alone and very trapped in this bad situation. I appreciate your prayers so much.
