Please pray for my health, especially for good sleep and healing from migraines.

Pray for strength to do everyday tasks that is sometimes overwhelming.

I'm also longing for good friends in my life, most have moved or in other ways disappeared from my life.

I live by myself and have not been able to attend church for the past years due to my health.

I have two prayer requests, for my in-laws. The first prayer request is for my brother-in-law, who is struggling with the weight of the world and deeply wants what my believing husband and father-in-law have, which is a relationship with the Lord. My brother-in-law says he believes in God, but has not made a profession of faith in Christ Jesus, so he is still not a believer. He also says he doesn't feel worthy enough to pursue a relationship with the Lord, so it would seem his heart is still hardened. However, he is receptive to the idea of praying and possibly reading the Bible as well (as a first step), and he has been opening up to my husband and father-in-law more. Please pray they will direct my brother-in-law to salvation and the truth of the gospel, and please pray the Lord would soften his heart so he may receive it. This is likely going to take some time.

The second prayer request is for my mother- and stepfather-in-law. They claim to be believers, yet made several very concerning statements yesterday in response to my brother-in-law's struggle (who, thankfully, was not in the room at the time). They said that, in order to achieve salvation, all one has to do is open their heart and God will find His way in, which is abjectly unbiblical. Then, they said attending church and reading the Bible aren't necessary for salvation and a relationship with God; the relationship is about a person saying they need God and opening their heart to Him. (Obviously, reading the Bible and attending church don't count as achieving salvation, but those things follow naturally as one develops their relationship with God.) Lastly, they said that no matter the religion, God wants a relationship with us. While they were saying these things, my sister-in-law, who is living with her boyfriend and is misleading her two young daughters, was nodding in agreement with everything. I was so shocked and deeply disturbed by those statements that I was actually speechless. Please pray for their salvation because they may not actually be saved. Thank you.
