I work at an oncology center, and this week has been much more difficult than most other times, for the fact that an ex-sister in law of mine, whom I have not seen in several years is now a patient there. She has had two strokes, which have impaired her speech and ability to walk without assistance. This past week was her first time at the office, and I happened to be the one obtaining her information. She has been diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer, which has metastasized to her bones; she will undergo other test to find out the extent of it. She and her ex husband had a daughter, Sara whom doesn't have a good connection with her Mom. I had asked my ex sister in-law if she had tried to contact Sara to let her know about her health, to which she shook her head "No". I am in no place to tell Sara about her Mother's condition! Sara now has a little boy who is about 4. I was trying to share the message of Christ to both of them in to which she replied to me. "I know you're coming from a place of love, but I don't practice religion. I do appreciate the sentiment. "
Little does she know that she is about to receive the terrible news about her Mother, and she will be in dire need of God's comfort.
I often wonder how people cope without faith.

I’m a Homeschool mom and have been “stuck” in the process of beginning building a home going on two years with delay after delay- but we’ve been “homeless”, living in someone’s basement for two years. Please pray all obstacles are removed and we can begin in Feb and can have a place to move into in 2024. We need to see a light at the end of this tunnel- it’s getting harder and harder on our family living in a one room basement for so long. I know God’s timing is perfect and I do trust him- but we could use prayer.

my niece Mia has brain swelling due to complications from giving birth, she went into cardiac arrest at the hospital, pray that the meds take away the swelling in her brain with no complications', she has 7 kids under 7 they need their mom, thank you , patty

I know this is a very hard time of year for alot of people, but your sisters and brothers in Christ are praying for you even when we dont know you. Christ has made this possible. I want you to know that l dont say this casually. I to have known hurt, l dont say this for you to feel sorry for me, after 2 years my daughter died of leukemia,January 1995, my mother followed end of January, and my Father, March 1995, my husband died of lung cancer from 2nd hand smoke, 2014, and there have been other things. I only said this because l want you to know Jesus helps us through our pain, and l also know some of you have gone through alot worse than l have. Hold on , Jesus is leading us HOME, GOD LOVES ️ US.

I was raised in the church and was saved as a child. Growing up I bounced from church to church because my parents would find something spiritually or scriptural wrong. Most of the churches made me feel like I wasn't good enough because I couldn't speak in tongues and some other things. I don't currently attend a church but I do watch several podcasts that are really good and have helped so much but I just don't feel close to Him. I constantly worry about my salvation even though I know I'm saved. I pray and read my Bible everyday and he has laid things on my heart at times but I just don't feel like I have the same relationship that others have. My prayer request is that He would reveal Himself more to me so that I can draw closer to Him and feel His love because right now I don't feel very loved, I feel alone
