Florida Enacts Historic Law Banning Minors from Attending “Drag” Shows, Strengthening Child Protection

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed this week a law prohibiting minors from participating in “drag” shows.  The law is already in effect and responds to growing concern over children and teenagers being exposed to sexualized content at public events, where adults dressed in female attire perform in front of young audiences.
