This scene from Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan takes place about half an hour into the movie. Most of that first half hour featured a visceral, ocean-and-sand-level view of the D-Day invasion at Normandy. The 1962 film, The Longest Day, gave huge, sweeping panoramas of that world-changing event. But Steven Spielberg brought us in close. He filled our eyes and ears with the terrible sights and sounds of war — a baptism by immersion into an environment thick with the horror of men dying and of death impending. 

“Sixty-two Jews have won the Nobel Prize in physiology or medicine, representing 26 percent of the total. Fifty-six Jews have won the Nobel Prize in physics, representing 24 percent of the total. Yet Jews constitute far less than 2 percent of the world’s population.”

After surveying the amazing contributions of Jews, the ad then asks a heartbreaking and provocative question: Had those millions lost in the Holocaust been spared, how many cures for cancer would have been found and diseases eradicated?

Now, as we await the Second Coming of Yeshua, Satan believes that he’s got one more chance at preventing it and time is quickly running out. Desperate measures for desperate times indeed. Satan knows that the Jewish people are closely involved in the Second Coming (Zechariah 12:10, Romans 11:26.) He knows that Yeshua promised to return when Israel proclaims corporately “Baruch Haba Bashem Adonai” as we see in Matthew 23:38-39 . . . .

It started out as global warming, eventually with Al Gore’s infamously spawned picture of a polar bear floating atop a small area of ice somewhere near the Arctic, I think it was. The picture and all that flowed from that heart-tugging graphic caused much panic within the progressive enclaves of America and the world. Children in the classrooms were particularly dismayed seeing the photo and receiving the teaching that we were all doomed.
