Palestine“Palestine” is a fantasy-land. That is why we head this category “Palestine?” “Palestinians” are simply Arabs like Jordanians, Syrians, etc. In 2006, the “Palestinians” voted into power, as their leaders, the violent terror group known as Hamas. They ousted the slightly more moderate group Fatah, currently headed by Mahmoud Abbas. But how much more moderate is Fatah? Abbas earned his PhD with a paper on the fiction of the Holocaust. Neither side will recognize Israel’s existence, yet the Western world insists Israel make “peace” with both parties. “Palestine” and the “Palestinian” cause only came about in the mid 1960s when Yaser Arafat put the movement on the map.

Sadly, the Palestinian Authority (PA) leaders are continuing to bury their heads in the sand and lying to everyone -- from their people to the international community.

The current wave of Palestinian terrorism has entered its fourth week, but our leaders, above all the PA President Mahmoud Abbas, are continuing to talk about a "peaceful, popular uprising" against Israel. This wave of Palestinian stabbings, shootings and vehicular ramming has been anything but either "popular" or "peaceful."

Yet Israel is expected to make peace with barbarians . . .

Among the hottest looks this season for the fashion-minded Palestinian murderer are these displayed on mannequins out front of a Gaza store, according to IsraellyCool.com.

They feature camos (with the sleeves stylishly pushed up), balaclavas (only in basic black), Palestinian scarves for a dash of color -- and knives for the stabbing intifada currently underway against Israeli Jews.

The Facts About Palestine

Who is the rightful owner of the most contested piece of real estate in the world? Everyone seems to have an answer to this question that has captured the world's attention. The Bible prophesies a time when the nation of Israel and Jerusalem in particular, will be a burdensome stone to the nations of the earth. In light of recent political events, I believe we are seeing the beginnings of what Zechariah wrote about almost 2,600 years ago. The media, politicians, and pop culture have made the Jews out to be the 'problem'......again. This is because many choose to believe a popular lie and ignore the facts about Palestine.

A Preview of ‘Palestine’

Anyone wishing to get a glimpse of what a future "Palestinian" state might look like, need look no further than recent actions taken and official statements made by both the Palestinian Authority and its rival Hamas this past month. While these two governing entities detest each other (perhaps even more so than the infidel Yahuds), it is difficult to discern why, since both of these governing bodies spew forth nearly identical xenophobic rhetoric and act with typical autocratic ruthlessness to stifle any whiff of internal dissent. In essence, they both act in a manner that is not dissimilar to the 20 or so chauvinistic, anti-democratic Muslim pseudo-states of the Middle East.

There has been a shift in Christian theology as it pertains to the Church's relationship with Israel and/or Palestinian Christians. Loyalties once rooted in biblical principles are quickly changing. For followers of Yeshua (Jesus), it should not be much of a struggle to recognize Israel's right to exist as well as the desperate need of the Jewish people for their Messiah.

Why Do 80% of Palestinians Support Murder?

In most parts of the world, it's not easy to find a major issue on which 80% of the population agrees. An election victory in the United States is considered a "landslide" if the winner receives more than about 60% of the vote. (Such as Richard Nixon winning 65% of the vote against George McGovern in the 1972 presidential race.)

But among Palestinian Arabs in Judea-Samaria (the West Bank) and Gaza, it turns out there is one issue on which there is more support than any other: randomly murdering Israeli Jews.

Palestine Before the Palestinians!

Way before Yasser Arafat, the PLO, Hamas, Fatah, Mahmoud Abbas and the likes, there was a Palestine. There was a Palestine that was recognized by the entire world and that was just fine. I am actually in favor of what Palestine used to be prior to the 1960s. Unfortunately, the word "Palestine" has since suffered from some kind of etymological virus for which there seems to be no cure. But why would the world look for a cure when nobody feels that there is even an virus? Yet it is pandemic!

• The original meaning of the word "Palestine":

Much like its Nazi predecessor, "The Big Lie" of today--a nonsensical fabrication spawned in the Middle East, even inside Israel, has rapidly evolved into an Arab propaganda locomotive powered by the steam engines of anti-Semitism. The lie, this falsehood of our time, purports that the "Palestinians", a mythical people whose ancestral beginnings under that moniker can be neither defined nor traced, were ejected from their own land -- a land to which they refer as "Palestine". Hence, the "Palestinian" people, with an international community behind them, maintain that they were "victimized" by the creation of the state of Israel in May, 1948. The Palestinians refer to this day as "Al Nakba", which translates to "Day of Catastrophe". In Israel, Jews and Christians celebrate this glorious day as Yom Ha'atzmaut. It is our Independence Day.

That is precisely why, in addition to leveling all sorts of other accusations at Israel, the Palestinian Authority is engaged in an effort to invent a new historical narrative that puts the Palestinians in the land long before the Hebrews ever arrived from Egypt.

Strang, whose father, Steve, is founder and president of Charisma Media, could be described as progressive in worldview. Steve Strang has a long reputation as a leader in the pro-Israel Christian community. The son, however, is something else altogether. Someone has described Relevant as Rolling Stone for evangelicals.

In the new issue cover story, Cameron Strang quoted a variety of people involved in framing the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. The problem is they are all left-wing. Sami Awad, Hanan Ashrawi, Lynne Hybels and Todd Deatherage, among others, are not impartial, unbiased observers. The article itself is steeply slanted toward the Palestinian view of the conflict which is, in short-form, all Israel's fault.
