Anti-SemitismKings, pharaohs, generals, fuehrers, Moslem extremists, and more have tried to exterminate the Jews for millennia. The Bible predicts the persecution of both Jews and Christians in many Scriptural references, with an intensification in the “end-times.” The Arab world fans the flames of anti-Semitism, as well as much of Europe and even Canada.

It has become more obvious in America with the push for a Palestinian state. Many, though certainly not all, who are pushing in America for a Palestinian state, and particularly on U.S. campuses, have anti-Semitic sentiment.

Anti-Semitism, The Pipeline of Hatred

"I could have wiped out all the Jews in the world, but I left a few of them so that you would understand why I would have destroyed them," reads the Arabic text on a Facebook group page praising Adolf Hitler.
A shadowy portrait of the Nazi leader stands off to the side, and at the bottom of the page "Hitler" is scrawled in English, in a font reminiscent of a Disney advertisement, as if the group were discussing Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck and not a genocidal dictator.

This example of online hate is just a sample of similar content revealed in a new report from the Simon Wiesenthal Center titled "Facebook, YouTube and How Social Media Outlets Impact Digital Terrorism and Hate," which details the size and scope of Internet hate and terror sites in 2009 and was presented to Foreign Ministry officials on Monday.

Jews have been physically attacked, schools targeted and cemeteries desecrated.

A disturbing number of left-wingers believe "them Jews" control the world.

But for the left, anti-Semitism makes perfect sense; almost as much sense as socialized medicine. Except for Islam (with which it's increasingly allied), the left has a near-monopoly on organized anti-Semitism.

Last month, that geriatric Jew-hater Jimmy Carter was in Gaza condemning the "devastation" wrought by Israel's military incursion to stop Hamas rocket attacks. "The citizens of Gaza are treated more like animals than people," the man who put the ayatollahs in charge of Iran intoned.

Britain has seen an unprecedented number of anti-Semitic "hate crimes", with more incidents recorded so far in 2009 than in any previous entire year, a Jewish advisory body said on Friday.

Up to the end of June, there were 609 anti-Semitic incidents ranging from verbal abuse to extreme violence, compared with 276 in the same period last year.

Blood libels against Jews have been with us from time immemorial. Last week, one occurred in a Swedish tabloid, Aftonbladet, where it was falsely claimed that Israeli troops were murdering Palestinians and harvesting their organs. Rejecting Israeli calls for official condemnation, Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt retorted that freedom of expression had to be protected and that he lacked time to edit "all strange debate contributions [emphasis added]."
